Privacy policy

This policy explains how Studio TOD Canada Inc. and the TAKEOFF Group studios handle personal information collected through this website. We collect only what we need, we do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Person in charge

Olivier de Ladreit is the person in charge of the protection of personal information. For any question or request: [email protected].

What we collect

  • Contact form. Your name, email address, company, budget range, message, and the region and studios you select. The form is transmitted by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) and delivered to our team by email.
  • Audience measurement. Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) records pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device, browser, referring site and time on page. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4.
  • Server logs. Our host, Netlify, processes technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
  • Embedded videos. Some pages embed YouTube players. YouTube (Google LLC) may collect data when you play a video, under its own privacy policy.

Why we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and route it to the right studio.
  • To prepare and follow up on a proposal or project you ask us about.
  • To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
  • To keep the site secure.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is shared only with the TAKEOFF Group studios and offices concerned by your request (Montréal, London, Lyon, Shenzhen, Singapore), and with the service providers listed above, who act on our behalf. We never sell or rent personal information.

Where it is stored

Our providers may process data in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union. Where information leaves your jurisdiction, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Contact form messages: as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, then no more than 3 years after our last exchange.
  • Google Analytics data: 14 months, then automatically deleted.
  • Server logs: according to Netlify’s standard retention, typically a few days.

Cookies

The site itself does not set advertising cookies. Google Analytics sets the following first-party cookies to distinguish visits:

  • _ga: distinguishes unique visitors. Expires after 2 years.
  • _ga_<ID>: keeps the state of a session. Expires after 2 years.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works normally without them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25), Canada’s PIPEDA, the EU and UK GDPR, you can:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Have it corrected or updated.
  • Have it deleted, or withdraw your consent.
  • Object to or restrict its use.
  • Receive it in a structured, commonly used format.

Write to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the CNIL (France) or the ICO (United Kingdom).

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need them to answer you.
