Turning a skin into an object.

For the launch of Year 11 Season 3 of Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft wanted to give one of the game’s biggest creators far more than a promo package. The starting point was JYNXZI’s MVP skin, already a status item inside the game. Our mission: pull it out of the screen and into the physical world without losing an ounce of its credibility. Same colours, same materials, same wear, same weight in the hand. A full kit of replicas he could wear, film from every angle, and display at home.

The kit

The kit brings together five pieces, each with its own production logic.

The helmet is a 1:1 replica built from a real breathing mask and hood, reworked with painted tinted vinyl, applied 3D elements, UV printing and metallic parts finished in gold-leaf imitation or gold-coloured metal depending on the area. It ships with its own display base and stand.

The vest started as a plain sleeveless jacket and was rebuilt entirely by hand. The quilted texture was worked directly over the original fabric, then finished with leather, a metal zipper, external fabric, paint and UV printing. It stays wearable and behaves like real gear rather than costume.

The shield is a 6 inch self-standing miniature, with a 0.5 mm transparent plastic viewport, DTF prints for the signage and warning decals, real wiring, and a controlled alternation of matte and gloss to separate the surfaces. The drone is a 7 inch replica combining two resins in a single object: a soft one so the treaded wheels deform like tyres, a rigid one so the chassis stays crisp. Its antenna ships detached for the creator to install, one last assembly gesture before the camera rolls.

The packaging doesn’t protect the kit. It locks it. A metal crate with a wooden panel bolted across the front, marked with a hand-painted yellow X and held by yellow straps. To reach the contents, you have to break through it, exactly the way a player breaches a room in Siege. Unboxing stops being the obstacle before the video and becomes its opening shot.

Creative process

Everything started with the texture maps. Every tone, every gloss level, every trace of wear was traced back to source, and each piece was broken into finish zones before a single coat of paint. That surface separation is what recreates the way light reads across the 3D model, and what lets the piece hold up in close-up.

The full chain was handled by our team: sourcing of the real gear used as a base, prototyping, client approval ahead of production, hand-fabrication of all five pieces, custom foam bedding for each item, and packaging dielines supplied to Ubisoft for the applied design.

From the first texture map to the moment the panel breaks, every detail was shaped to turn a skin into an object.

The result

The kit opened JYNXZI’s stream in front of more than 60,000 concurrent viewers across Twitch and YouTube. The VOD has since passed 618,000 views on a channel of 6.84 million subscribers, under a thumbnail featuring the helmet we built.
